Prayers, Thoughts and Love

Fear… fear is something that is instilled in all of us – in some way, shape or form. You may be afraid of the dark, heights or simply the unknown. Even the strongest people we know are afraid of something. And, it is in those true moments of fear, we find out what we are really made of.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, families and those affected by last night’s shooting in Colorado. Never in a million years would one think that by attending a movie, they might not ever make it out of the theater. It seems like a safe place – a place where people with a similar interest join together for an hour or two and are entertained. But now, in one event, a movie theater will become a place of fear for many.

It’s ironic, that as a nation, we are all able to stand up and support one another in times of need. Perhaps that is the great thing about America – we find out what we are really made of.

When you sit down tonight, thank the stars above and send your prayers out to those who need it most. There is no sense living in fear – but we never know what tomorrow might bring.
